MUMs Recipes – Final Newsletter 2015
Dear Friends of MUMs
After 10 amazing years, I have made a decision to pass on the work of MUMs to other organisations – you can read about these in this final newsletter.
I am in a new phase of my life and while I am still very keen to continue links with the work in Malawi, I believe it is time to find new energy and structures to ensure sustainability of the work MUMs has done but without me at the helm. Most of all, what I wanted was to protect the feeding programmes which we have worked so hard to get to this stage and to ensure that the children continue to be fed, cared for and educated.
It is the end of an era and I feel very privileged to have been given the opportunity to help make a difference to the lives of so many women and children and communities. None of it would have been possible without the love and support of my husband Iain, my wonderful family, the MUMS Trust and Committee of great girls, my amazing friends and the inspirational people I have met along the way. They have made ideas, hopes and dreams become a reality.
What a journey it has been and I would like to thank you all for your immense generosity, belief and support for my work and for making that journey with me, for making it possible.

Welcome to MUMs
The Malawi Underprivileged Mothers recipe book was compiled to raise money and awareness of the terrible plight of the mothers and babies in one particularly poor government run hospital in Lilongwe, Malawi.
